Sandra is still very interested in wood block printing. At the present time, she is starting to do more work in this field.
Across the Water
In
1994, when she joined the Lemonville Group of Artists, Sandra started
using watercolours. The portability of this medium allows her to paint
wherever she wants. She studied with Lyn Liddle in Lemonville and
Jesse in Stouffville.
Sandra began painting out of doors, and joined the Roadside
Painters Group. This is a group of
artists, who enjoy painting outside and capturing images of their
surroundings. She enjoys the spontaneity of watercolours. As well as
landscapes, she often works with watercolours in the intuitive style.
Sandra also enjoys creating abstract art. Her inspiration
comes from nature.
